How do I check my credit is insured?

It’s simple to check if your Fido credit is insured. Once your credit is approved and disbursed, Fido automatically activates the applicable insurance coverage, either Credit Life Insurance or Climate Disaster Insurance, depending on your eligibility.

Here’s how to confirm if your credit is insured:

  1. Log in to your Fido App.
  2. Go to the Credit section on your home screen.
  3. Check your active credit line, if it’s insured, you’ll see a shield icon displayed next to your credit line.

This shield means your credit is protected by Fido’s insurance.

  • For Credit Life Insurance, you’re covered throughout your credit period.
  • For Climate Disaster Insurance, your coverage stays active for 12 months, even if you don’t have an active credit.

If you don’t see the shield icon, it simply means your current credit line is not insured.
