Common reasons for document rejection

  • Outdated Documents: Documents must be issued within a specified time frame.
  • Mismatched Information: Ensure that your name and address match your Fido profile.
  • Incomplete Details: Missing critical information such as company name, address, or signatures.
  • Low-Quality Scans: Blurry or unreadable copies can lead to documents not being approved.

Request a new receipt if your details have changed.
Mortgage Statement
  • Document must have customer's name
  • The document must have customer's address
  • Document must be issued within the past 6 months



Ensure the statement covers the required time frame.
Proof of EmploymentPayslip
  • Document must have customer's name
  • Document must have company name
  • Document must be issued within the past 6 months
  • Document must have a salary amount.



Ensure payslips are stamped or signed if required by your employer’s policies.
Appointment Letter
  • Document must have customer's name
  • Document must have company name
  • Document must have customer's position
  • Document must be issued within the past year 
  • Document must have a company letter head.
  • Document must be signed by the employer



Ensure the letter has a signature and company seal if applicable.
Employment Promotion letter
  • Document must have Employee's and Employer's name
  • Document must have company address
  • Document must be signed by the employee/employer
  • Document must be issued within 1 year/past year
  • Document must be on a letter head or stamped with company stamp



Verify that the letter meets all these criteria before submission.
SSNIT Pension Statement
  • Document must have customer's name
  • Document must have last employer's name
  • Document must be issued within the past 6 months



Confirm all details are accurate and legible before submission.

Introductory Letter
  • Document must have customer's name
  • Document must have company name
  • Document must have customer's position
  • Document must be issued within the past 6 months
  • Document must have a company letter head
  • Document must be signed by employer



Verify that the letter meets all these criteria before submission.

Financial InformationMTN Statement

  • Document must have customer's name
  • Document must have a minimum of 50 transactions or more
  • Document must be issued within the past 6 months
  • Document must have customers mobile money wallet number
  • Time span between initial and final transaction must be at least 1 month



Download a full statement directly from your MTN account to ensure all transactions are included or contact MTN customer care directly, for assistance with getting your MTN statement
Bank Statement

- Must include your name 

- Must show at least 20 transactions.

- Issued within the past 60 days.

-Must be in a PDF format
