How to Repay Your Default Credit with Fido

At Fido, we believe everyone deserves a second chance. That’s why we’ve made it simple for you to clear your outstanding balance and rebuild your credit standing all through the Fido App. If you have a default credit, the amount you owe is clearly displayed in your app, and you can make repayment safely and conveniently in just a few steps.

Step-by-Step: How to Repay Your Default Credit

1. Make sure your Fido App is up to date

  • Before you begin, check that you’re using the latest version of the Fido App. Updating ensures a smooth repayment experience.

2. Log in using your Fido PIN

  • Open the Fido App and log in with your registered mobile number and 4-digit Fido PIN.
  • If you’re having trouble logging in, tap “Forgot PIN” on the login screen and follow the steps to reset it.
  • Once logged in, you’ll see a screen showing that you have an unpaid credit balance. Review the amount carefully, then tap “Repay Now.”

3. Choose your repayment amount

  • You can choose to repay the full balance or make a partial payment, whichever works best for you. Follow the on-screen steps to complete payment securely within the app or by using our alternative payment procedure

4. Confirm your repayment

  • After your payment is received and processed, you’ll receive an SMS confirmation from Fido letting you know that your repayment was successful.
